Castle in the Air, Wetherspoons

It's always a bonus when we go somewhere that I am allowed to eat a dessert. The usual position is that there are no desserts that are nut free or the restaurant don't want to risk it. However I was pleasantly surprised on a recent trip to Wetherspoons (Castle in the Air in Chill Factore Manchester) when there were a number of desserts which were nut free. My husband and I therefore took full advantage and had a salted caramel cookie dough  and chocolate brownie dessert. They were both delicious!

The staff at Wetherspoons were also really helpful and, when asked about allergens, quickly produced a allergen booklet and helped us to work out which dishes had allergens in.

We really enjoyed our experience and were encouraged that staff were well trained about allergens and helpful information was available. I'd therefore rate this

Wetherspoons 5 out of 5 and hope to try other Wetherspoons soon.
